With Spring in the H-AIR, there will be many Special Occasions happening to show off your beautiful natural tresses. Hopefully most have worn protective natural styles throughout the winter and are now ready to release locs of healthy hair, transforming them into creative, eye catching Coifs In this video you will learn how to create two versatile Curly Up-dos that can go from wedding to a weekend out on the town or for a romantic or girls getaway without a lot of up-keep or maintenance. See how to create a stylish yet easy to maintain look. This style can take you from special occasion to any occasion with minimal effort on your part. (These looks can be created on all hair types and textures using the same techniques shown in video).

Products used to create this look:

Step 1: Cleanse hair with Fruit, Herb & Flower Appel Cider Vinegar. After diluting, cleanse hair by spraying scalp down to ends with ACV. Then gently massage thoroughly into scalp down to ends. Use a rat-tail comb to lift any dandruff from scalp. Rinse thoroughly and proceed to detangling.

Step 2:  After applying "Honey Creme Liquid Balm" (Moisturizer) to entire head of damp or wet hair, detangle hair using a large tooth comb. To minimize hair breakage while detangling spray on a generous amount of "Fruit, Herb & Flower Oil-Free Setting Balm" (Tea Bags) .

Step 3: Once hair is detangled, begin setting hair using Flexi or Perm Rods. Using about 20-30 flexi rods, roll hair starting from ends working up rod. Twist hair around rod as you roll to create a "Corkscrew" appearance. (See video) After all rods are installed, allow hair to dry under a hooded dryer for 1-2 hours or allow to air dry 1-3 hours or overnight.

Step 4: After hair has dried, gently remove rods and apply "Honey Gloss & Shine Liquid Balm" , Natural Oasis Herbal Hair & Scalp Conditioner or Styling Oil to each curl while a raveling and separating.

Step 5: After curls have been separated, pull all hair up and toward the very top of the head and apply a protective hair band around all hair. This curly puff should have a tosseled, slightly messy look. To maintain sheen daily, add a small amount of Natural Oasis Herbal Finisheen to hands and smooth into outer edge or hair and scrunch into bun/puff.
